Polynet Public company limited (POLY) in collaboration with the Chula Medical Innovation Center (CMIC) revealing the success of the product group medical innovation in the PEG device (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy tube set) on September 29, 2023, Mrs. Kanchana Laowrattana, the CEO of Polynet Public company limited (POLY) signed the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) alongside with Prof.Dr Rungsun Rerknimitr, Director of the Chula Medical Innovation Center and the business partnership with the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, for collaborative research and product development, commencing success in the development of PEG products used for enteral nutrition which is a component made from silicone which is POLY specializes in this field. Currently, the product is imported from overseas as there is no local manufacturer in Thailand. This medical innovation aims to support affordable healthcare for the Thai people, ensuring access to treatments at reasonable prices while still maintaining international standards.
